Our client is a multinational company leader in the equipment rental industry, providing high-quality lifting solutions combined with an extensive service offering. 
For their Italian headquarters, we are searching for high-calibre candidates to take up the following challenging role:

Country CFO Italy
The candidate, directly reporting to the General Manager of the Italian Business Unit, and working closely with the Group International Finance Director, leads the financial, accounting, controlling and compliance activities of the country. As a member of the Executive Committee, he plays a critical role in supporting decision-making, improving financial KPIs, and ensuring the robust deployment of group processes at the local level.

Main responsibilities 
- Define and execute financial strategy: Lead the full budgeting process, forecast updates, variance analysis, and budget discipline aligned with Group objectives.
- Drive financial & operational performance: Monitor KPIs, margins, and cost structures at both national and branch levels, proactively proposing initiatives to improve profitability and asset utilization.
- Ensure robust accounting & reporting: Lead and manage a team of finance professionals across accounting, treasury, and controlling, ensuring accurate and timely production of monthly, quarterly, and statutory accounts.
- Manage compliance & risk: Oversee legal, tax, and regulatory compliance (VAT, insurance, contracts) and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and financial institutions.
- Optimize cash management: Supervise credit management, collections, DSO performance, and treasury operations, monitoring liquidity positions and drawing up cash forecasts.
- Act as a strategic business partner: Support agency managers in understanding their P&Ls, drive financial ownership, and conduct regular branch visits to support operational performance.

Required Knowledge and Experience
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CFO or Deputy CFO.
- Proven track record in financial planning, controlling, reporting, and team leadership.
- Significant experience in multi-site operations.
- Strong business acumen with a charismatic and approachable leadership style.
-Fluent in Italian and  English.

Workplace: Eastern Lombardy 

Salary package: RAL € 100.000 - 110.000+ bonus 15% + company car
