Mass Market & Organized Trade Head (K 017 - FB - 20)
The Mass Market & Organized Trade Head is a key member of the local leadership team, reports directly to the Country Division Head Consumer Health, is responsible for leading the MM & OT overall strategy as well as the company’s performance in those channels.
The role will focus on:
• MM & OT Sales Strategy: develop and drive the OT strategy based on the overall company and portfolio strategy to realize company targets in the most efficient and effective way (ability to capture the trends; Master E-commerce channel and digital; Analyze market, channel, category, accounts developments and trends, create a compelling plan and guarantee its activation; Ensure planning, execution; monitor, control and make necessary amendments where needed)
• National Action Plan: ensure optimal preparation of the National Account Plans, based on the discussed Brand and Account reviews, and after approval, ensure implementation in order to achieve the set sales targets for the coming year including long-term perspectives for client and market segment
• Financial Goals: full OT P&L responsibility (lead the yearly budget related to the sales plan, balancing financial goals for trade channels, manage all resources guaranteeing the best ROI); develop the yearly budget leading to the channel, nationals accounts, accounts and other customers individual National Action Plan.
• Leads, coaches and develops overall sales team: inspire and manage the OT organization
The role requires an influential, proactive, strategic thinker with a comprehensive retail customer & category knowledge. It demands someone who is results-oriented, independent, entrepreneurial and self-motivated with the ability to react in a fast and responsive manner, willing to drive change.
The ideal candidate is an Italian native speaker, fluent in English, with a Bachelor’s degree (Social Science, Business Administration, Marketing) and a proven track record of at least 10 years of experience in OTC and/or FMCG industry with solid record of accomplishment of success (including delivering on targets), specific experience in Mass Market and Organized Trade.
This person should be a thought leader who combines high analytical mindset and knowledge on Net Revenue Management, strong leadership, excellent relationship building skills.
The candidate needs to have high business acumen, execute posture, excellent verbal & written presentation, communication, selling and negotiation skills and ability to perform in high pressure environment.
Experience in E-commerce is very appreciated.
Marketing and international experience are of advantage.
The position is based in Milan.
