We have now been assigned the search of the:
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER SOUTH EUROPE (SC – AZ – 18)
Reporting to the VP Logistic & Supply Chain EMEA he/she will have responsibility for maximizing South Region customer service and optimum end to end costs by leading Planning, Logistic and Customer Service Teams in the South Region for a total of approx. 50 people (between direct reports and teams) based in different locations. Key target will be the maximization of customer satisfaction and making a competitive advantage of client service.
The job requires a solid expertise in:
-Demand Planning, replenishment and inventory management
-Logistic management: in and out logistic flows and picking process
-Development of supply chain service level agreements and coordination of optimization programs
-Claim and complaints management: facing all customer communication, covering order taking and coordinating resolution of incidents across departments
-Supporting the Sales operations achieve the sales budget, providing ad hoc analysis & data, etc.
Qualifications, background experience, organizational knowledge, skills etc:
˗Master or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering with business awareness or Business School;
˗Proven track record within a Supply Chain/Logistic role (8-10 years), gained in a manufacturing environment preferably in the FMCG market;
˗Experience working with cross-functional teams, from international locations, and interest in working in a global environment;
˗Fluency in English and Italian.
˗Strong and proven project management skill set;
˗Excellent analytical skills and IT knowledge;
˗Knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies;
˗Ability to work within a complex matrix organization being part of the EMEA Leadership Team;
˗Excellent organizational skills;
˗Strong sales and customer orientation;
˗Adaptable leadership style;
˗Team empowerment encouraging commitment and responsibility-taking;

Based in: Milan with frequent travel. International mobility is a must, as next career step might be outside Italy
